The staff kindly prepared a coffee and bacon roll for my early departure. I found the service very thoughtful as I had a long day ahead. The hotel also featured a cosy bar and outdoor seating!
Room decor seemed dated. It could use some modernisation to match the price. The floorboards creaked a lot in the room. It was quite noticeable. I also had difficulty getting a taxi back to the hotel from town!

The staff was friendly. It was nice to have a bathtub.
My room was very outdated. The bathroom was especially off-putting with cracked tiles. I decided not to shower there. Every door squeaked, and some WD40 would have been helpful.

broken remotetemperature regulation
i found a couple of issues . the television remote in the room did not work properly i could not change channels from the bed. also the shower temperature was difficult to regulate it was either too hot or too cold. it made showering quite annoying. staff didn't seem to care about it. the restaurant food was fine though.

I enjoyed the room it was spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. The restaurant offered a cosy atmosphere and tasty food. The hotel also has its own brewery and the beer was great. I had a relaxing time.
The hotel is a 15-minute uphill walk from the town centre. This might be difficult for some guests with mobility issues.

the staff was attentive. the room was large. the breakfast selection was wonderful and varied. the evening meal was also super.
the beds were very small. i did not sleep well on them. the plumbing needs attention. the rooms need updating. cleanliness was not great, but i raised this with them and showed pictures, so that can be addressed.
